I am passionate about healthcare consumerism. Before HealthMine, I led the largest private Medicare health insurance exchange in the country at Towers Watson. I was the co-founder and CEO of Extend Health, and also served as the senior vice president of marketing and business development at eHealth, Inc. Prior to that, I was Vice President and General Counsel for Advance Paradigm and a corporate transactions attorney at Jones, Day, Reavis and Pogue. I was honored in 2011 as the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year for Northern California in Business Services.

How I engage in health and life This past year I started indoor cycling about 3 times per week. I saw the results when we went on a ski trip and I had more stamina than ever. It has motivated me to keep it up.

I run, bike and swim when I can, and have three Ironman triathlons under my belt. When it comes to nutrition, I start every morning with a protein shake loaded with fresh fruit. I try to avoid sugar and fried foods.

Christopher Chang

I am responsible for our Personal Clinical Engagement platform and all technology efforts. Prior to joining HealthMine, I worked for large national and global IT consulting companies where I led complex, large scale IT projects to successful completion for Fortune 500 companies. How I engage in health and life
Bike riding and playing tennis help me keep up with my 6-year-old son, who is a martial artist. On the food side, I’ve cut out refined sugars and carbohydrates for nearly five years, and feel better for it.

Sandeep Oberoi

VP, Delivery

I run both our project management and client services teams. My goals are to deliver exceptional quality products for our clients and to exceed their expectations every day. Before joining HealthMine, I led project management and strategic planning at LivingSocial during its early stage and through hyper growth phases. Prior to that, I led project management teams at multiple startups, including Extend Health, Revolution Health, and Number 6 consulting. I have a BA from Middlebury College.

How I engage in health and life
I’m an avid hiker, back packer and mountain climber. I recently planted and grew my first urban vegetable garden, igniting a new twist in my appreciation for food. Having a direct connection with what we eat helps us all relate to and respect what we consume. Plus, it’s a good excuse to get dirty.

Terri Brncic

 VP, Finance

I manage all aspects of the company’s accounting and finance operations. Prior to HealthMine, I was the CFO at Extend Health, where I led the finance organization from the earliest stages through to the sale of the company. Prior to that, I served as Corporate Controller for a variety of public and private companies in the technology and biotechnology industries. I hold a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley and am a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California.

How I engage in health and life:
For starters, I love skiing with my family! I also enjoy running and try to log 25-30 miles per week. In terms of diet, I am obsessed with kale and rarely go a day without it. To keep my mind nourished, I travel extensively, am learning a second language and dance Sevillanas every chance I get!

Rodger Kormylo

VP, Business Development & Sales

I head up Sales and Business Development at HealthMine. It’s my responsibility to connect with, and counsel health insurers building a true digital member engagement strategy that extracts intelligent insights from analysis of all member health data. Health intelligence helps each member better manage his or her health, and dynamically guides plans on what actions will improve population health. I have been a senior consultant and sales executive in the consumer healthcare movement since the early ‘2000s, when I helped to build Medco’s (now ESI’s) Consumer Driven Health platform. Plus, I have held both Sales and Account Management Leadership roles at leading PBMs over the last 25 years. I have a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Illinois – Chicago, and I have an Executive Certificate from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business in Building and Leading High Performing Teams.

How I engage in health and life My life motto is, “Everything in moderation…except love and laughter.” I am a lifelong hockey player and still love lacing up my skates as much as possible. Since I travel often, I try to stick to lighter meals – seafood and salads whenever possible…and I remind myself that I don’t always need to drive – so, I choose to walk as much as I can. It’s amazing how many steps I can log in a week just by walking to and from hotels and to meetings instead of taking Uber or Lyft.

Brennan Collins

VP, Product

I lead all product strategy and design efforts. By continually driving product innovation, we can truly empower our customers to help themselves own their health. Before HealthMine, I gained product management experience in healthcare, financial services, and consulting, most recently leading product at MedAssets. I have a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University.

How I engage in health and life I do early morning cardio and weight training during the work week. On weekends, I like to play flag football, sand volleyball, and golf. As a family, we walk a few times per week.

My healthy diet consists of small choices each day. I choose fish when my budget allows, and grill a couple of times a week. My favorite healthy meal these days is grilled salmon, grilled asparagus, and roasted pine nut hummus with celery.

Helen Cheng

Before HealthMine, I held various healthcare management and executive positions focusing on healthcare data mining, analysis, modeling and product development. I graduated from Rutgers University with dual advanced degrees of Ph.D. in Physiology and Neurobiology and M.S. in Biostatistics.

How I engage in health and life
I love hiking the beautiful Blue Ridge and Smokey Mountain trails. When the weather turns cold, I dance and cycle alongside my children on the Wii Fit. When it comes to eating, we enjoy cooking Chinese Food at home. We also love to oven-roast fish and incorporate fruits and vegetables into our meals.
