Bryce joined HealthMine, Inc. —formerly SeeChange Health Solutions—as President and CEO in 2014 and is passionate about healthcare consumerism.
Before HealthMine, Bryce created and led the largest private Medicare health insurance exchange in the country at Towers Watson. He was the co-founder and CEO of Extend Health, and served as the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at eHealth, Inc.
Prior to that, Bryce was Vice President and General Counsel for Advance Paradigm and a corporate transactions attorney at Jones, Day, Reavis and Pogue. He was honored in 2011 as the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year for Northern California in Business Services.
In his free time, Bryce likes to attend indoor cycling classes with his wife and is an avid skier with his sons at resorts across Utah.
Adam joined HealthMine as VP of Sales in 2018. He is on a mission to enable health plans to engage their members while improving their health. Adam brings this perspective to clients after spending 15 years in strategic sales at independent technology solution vendors and those within plans.
Prior to HealthMine, Adam held senior management positions at Ingenix (United Health Group), Hewlett Packard, Verisk Health, Practice Fusion, and Athenahealth.
Adam holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Utah State/University of Phoenix. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his family in the mountains of Utah, his home state.
As Vice President of Finance, Paul leads the Finance, Accounting and Human Resource departments at HealthMine. Prior to joining the company in 2019, he spent over 15 years at Peacock Alley – the last 10 years as Chief Financial Officer – where he helped drive strategy and execution – delivering record bottom line profitability.
Paul is a Certified Public Accountant and has a BBA and MS from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Originally from South Africa, he’s lived in Dallas for 25 years with his wife and son.
Amy Lung joined HealthMine in 2019 as the Chief Operating Officer. She brings 14 years of healthcare experience focused on Quality Improvement through data-driven member and provider engagement strategies. With extensive experience working between health plans and provider organizations, Amy has designed multi-year, sustainable quality improvement programs for several organizations and has a keen interest in utilizing data and technology to expedite results.
In previous roles, she led high performing health plans to achieve and sustain a 4.0 Star Rating in Medicare Advantage, 4.0 NCQA Medicaid Health Plan Ratings, led top-rated Medicaid Plan Performance, collaborated to win two state Medicaid RFPs and has captured significant revenue return in Medicaid Withhold Programs.
Amy is certified as an Improvement Advisor from the Institute of Healthcare Improvement and holds a LEAN for Healthcare certification through UCLA extension. She also holds a B.A. in Biology from the University of Wisconsin— Eau Claire.
In her free time, Amy enjoys traveling, reading, food & wine and spending time with her husband and two sons in their hometown of Grosse Pointe, Michigan.
Nicole Althaus joined HealthMine in 2018 as VP of Marketing and Member Engagement Products. Her goal is the continuous improvement of our personalized health action solutions, which empower consumers to take charge of their health.
In doing this, Nicole can apply her broad healthcare and consumer background including payer, care management, mobile health, predictive intelligence, consumer engagement, prescription services, medical devices – and most importantly— as a patient. As a result, she drives our solutions from the consumer-patient perspective first.
Nicole utilizes her professional experience from companies like UnitedHealth Group, VigiLanz, Surescripts, LifeCore Biomedical, and Nonin Medical. She holds a B.A. in Communication Studies/Broadcast Journalism from the University of Iowa.
In her free time, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family, attending sporting events, and exercising.
Jean Arrington joined HealthMine in 2018 as SVP and Chief Innovation Officer— leading our company innovation and business architecture team and bringing with her a wide-ranging background in health care and IT. She believes the greatest inventions are the ones that transform knowledge into powerful insights, which empower individuals to make better health decisions.
Throughout her 35+ year career, Jean has helped design and patent over 30 first-to- market analytic products including Ingenix Best Match Search, the Ingenix CRAFT™ research tool, and OptumHealth Aberrancy Tracking Tool, to name a few.
In her free time, Jean enjoys hiking, biking, and boating with her family in their home
state of Utah.
Christopher Chang joined HealthMine in 2012 and is responsible for the company’s Automatic Health platform and all technology efforts.
Prior to HealthMine, he was Chief Technology Officer for Micro Interactive, a small, privately held company that grew and ultimately became acquired by IXL. He also worked for Fortune 500 companies in the national and global IT space, consulting and leading large-scale IT projects to successful completion.
Christopher holds two technical patents on reusable application frameworks, which were adopted by Microsoft’s Patterns & Practices group. He has a BS in Computer Science from Rutgers University-New Brunswick, and enjoys biking and tennis, which help him keep up with his elementary-aged son.

Donald R. Fischer, MD, MBA, is an independent health care consultant who was the senior vice president of health affairs and chief medical officer at Highmark, Inc. from 2004 through 2015. Among his responsibilities were clinical strategy, medical management and policy, care management services, utilization management, quality management and preventive health services. He practiced pediatric cardiology at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh for many years, and served as the Medical Director of the Children’s Hospital from 1996-2000.
Director of the Duke-Robert J. Margolis, MD, Center for Health Policy and one of the nation’s leaders in health policy and reform. Dr. McClellan was formerly a senior fellow and director of the Health Care Innovation and Value Initiative at the Engelberg Center for Health Care Reform at The Brookings Institution in Washington D.C. Dr. McClellan also served as Commissioner of the United States Food and Drug Administration under President George W. Bush from 2002 through 2004 and subsequently as administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services from 2004 through 2006.
Dr. Patel is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Health Care Management at the Perelman School of Medicine and The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Primary Care Physician at the Crescenz Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Philadelphia and is on the faculty at the Penn Medicine Center for Health Care Innovation and the Center for Health Incentives and Behavioral Economics. His research focuses on studying innovative ways to change health behaviors and improve health outcomes by combining connected health approaches that collect patient-generated health data with engagement strategies that leverage insights from behavioral economics. Dr. Patel is also the Director of the Penn Medicine Nudge Unit, an initiative within the health care system to systematically tests ways to apply insights from behavioral science to choice environments to improve health care value and outcomes.
